Where do I complete my prerequisites?
Prerequisites may be completed at a community college or accredited university of your choice before transferring to Lakeview.

I鈥檇 like to take Chemistry at Lakeview. Can I take it while enrolled in nursing courses?
Chemistry must be completed prior to beginning nursing coursework.

You may apply for admission while still completing prerequisite coursework; however, all prerequisites must be finished before the start of nursing courses. Applicants will not be fully admitted unless they have a clear and feasible plan to complete all preliminary coursework before the nursing program begins.

Lakeview does offer an option to complete Chemistry as a Non-Degree Seeking Student. Credits earned through this option do count toward the 黑料老司机 degree at Lakeview. Please be aware that financial aid is limited for non-degree seeking students, as federal and state grants and loans are typically available only to degree-seeking students.

Do you accept international students?
All applicants must have established legal residency in the United States. Lakeview College of 黑料老司机 does not issue I-20 forms for student visas.

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident. Documentation is required at the time of application. Acceptable documentation for individuals born outside the United States includes a naturalization certificate or permanent resident (green) card.

How does Lakeview deal with international transcripts?
Applicants who have attended a college or university outside of the United States must have their transcripts and academic credentials:

• Translated into English

• Converted to U.S. letter grades

• Accompanied by course descriptions

• Evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation agency

All translation and evaluation services are the responsibility of the applicant and must be completed prior to admission review.
