Career Services at Lakeview College of ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú is a team effort among faculty and staff. Lakeview has designed this space for students to explore nursing employment in addition to the job information that is emailed to students periodically. Throughout the nursing program, students are exposed to several clinical nursing experiences at various healthcare institutions. This exposure helps students gain a broader perspective on the nursing profession and potential career paths. Students have ample opportunities to explore nursing specialties, develop resumes, practice interview questions, and navigate the job search process.

• Job Fairs and Recruitment Events – Lakeview hosts a job fair in the fall and spring semesters. This event allows students to connect with potential employers like hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations.
• Internship and Externship Opportunities – Students can search the job postings for internship and externship experiences.
• Alumni Networking – Students can connect to nursing alumni through various social media to seek advice, mentorship, and job leads after graduation.
• Resume and Interview Preparation – Students will build a resume, get feedback, and practice interviewing questions in their senior year of the nursing program.
• Job Search Assistance – Students can seek assistance from their Faculty/Academic Advisors to help navigate job boards and apply for positions as they seek their first nursing role.

These career services aim to ensure nursing graduates feel supported transitioning from student to professional nurse. At the time of graduation, many of our students have already accepted a position or are in the interviewing stage.
